    SPOP. bought a sweatshirt! :) hehe there was a cute one that said UCI w/a pict of an anteater that said ZOT! but i figured i might get sick of it so i just got this one haha can’t wait till it gets cold again. ANYWAY, so fun. day 1 was basically getting academic counseling and signing up for classes…there were only 9ppl in my major so it was really nice LOL i signed up for 4 classes, then pretty much chilled for 4hrs/took ID card pict (ew). after, checked into room (in ME! hehe), roommate wasn’t there yet so i was like :( cuz i couldn’t meet her LOL. but yeah went outside and the staffers made us play a bunch of games LOL. our hall/building/thingy eventually started playing w/3 other groups so it was just a bunch of us screaming out the names of our building. (we were elrond which somehow became elronald mcdonald LOL) but yeah the staffers were hecka nice and super outgoing/friendly. eventually i met my roommate, she was really open and we talked a LOT… :) then after dinner was a workshop about drugs/sex…semi awkward but we got to use these clicker thingys to answer questions it was so cool LOL then there was a dance which mainly consisted of the staffers dancing LOL and then we played this giant snake game-so much running LOL but yeah… afterward we went back to our halls, did this cross the line thingy which was a really big eye opener to other people’s lives. after that was spolympics till like 2/3am LOL then like half the ppl went to sleep and a whole bunch of other ppl from a diff hall came over and we just talked/played games/told ghost stories haha i ended sleeping at 4ish…day 2 was a bunch of workshops/meeting up w/your parents (but mine didn’t go cuz we didn’t wanna pay so i just hung out w/some ppl LOL) went to the anteater resource fair and got hecka free stuff yay! afterward the staffers put on a talent show for us, it was really funny and random and awkward and talented i guess LOL then we went back to residence halls, and basically finished off spop w/this touching game LOL basically we just all sat in a circle facing out and closed our eyes and the few ppl in the middle would go around touching someone on the shoulder/back if they made them smile/made their spop experience better/etc. it was really nice to show appreciation to others and get appreciated. YAY! k im done here LOL
